You covered principles that have always been very important to me as a practitioner — especially providing value to my patients, and the importance of a patient centered practice, and the importance of goal setting and remembering to take a few minutes for gratitude each day.

I am expressing my gratitude once again for having had the opportunity to learn from your experiences and mistakes on Wednesday. I am also on vacation this week and I am glad I made the time for this invaluable seminar. 11 years down the road, it’s the best I have attended so far in terms of CE from a colleague. I love your attitude. Having read your book and having a jumpstart on my expansion plan, for me this was more of a great pep talk than a formal, humdrum training. The pace at which you kept the day is ideal for the transmission of these positive suggestions. I felt energized at the end of the day, in contrast with the usual  theoretical seminars where I could often feel fatigued at the end of a long day of lectures. Very helpful because he confirmed that my continuing education is important. Sounds silly, but I was told I learn too much and now I know I should follow my intuition and continue learning and growing in my field so to offer my patients the best up-to-date knowledge and the best me.

Excellent – I had an IT consulting business for 9 years; so no fears about marketing my passion of acupuncture but I always like to learn more and this webinar had some excellent points, (no pun here),  (pictures on the website of happy clients/not needles),  and made me feel good about looking behind and realizing I had done some of the suggestions, (took my professors to lunch and paid!) The sailing metaphor and looking at the horizon was excellent, I am in that boat, being grateful! Thanks!

Dr. Brown’s lecture was superb! Excellent content, well delivered and based in practical experience (which is well needed in our field). His conclusions (i.e. lessons and tips being counter intuitive) corroborated what I have noticed in practice myself. If more Acupuncturists were as professional and knowledgeable as Dr. Brown, the profession would be elevated dramatically. It was a pleasure to be in the audience. Can’t wait to apply what I learned!

This was a fun course! I loved that Lorne shared so much of his personal experience with us – I found most of it quite relevant (although I admit to my eyes glazing over with the numbers towards the end.) I appreciated the encouragement he gave us about being having thriving practices and that we don’t need to be expert clinicians to be successful. Oh, and the handouts and examples of letters/forms/etc. were very helpful!

Thank you for this class, it was my first business development class ever after 12 years of practice. I plan to find more like this and I will definitely read the books you suggested.

I really enjoyed your course and getting to meet you again, I look forward to seeing you in Vancouver! What was really refreshing was hearing you be totally transparent about your ups and downs, your insecurities and most of all your great success. I felt like I practice in a similar manner as you, coming from a place of gratitude, I know that I’m very fortunate. What really resonated with me is the message of company centric vs. customer centric, I realize I have work to do in that area.

This course is full of helpful tools for strengthening and professionalizing my practice. It’s more than a simple marketing course. The info presented completely matches the vision and mission I have for my practice. Thank you for the course and the shared stories.
